What is Rewind X?
Undo transfers before they're final.
A time-bounded safety window for ERC-20 transfers. Fully on-chain. Non-custodial. Deterministic.
Finally, safety without compromising decentralization.
Protected Transfers
3 min – 24h WindowEvery protected transfer enters a time-bounded state. The sender remains fully in control during this window.
Deterministic Execution
No Human DecisionsEvery action follows predictable on-chain logic. No operators, no approvals, no subjective judgment.
Non-Custodial Design
No Discretionary ControlFunds are held by the smart contract under predefined rules. No operator can intervene or take control of user funds.
What it is
- Preventive safety layer
- Deterministic on-chain rules
- Sender-initiated protection
What it is not
- Not insurance or fund recovery
- Not custodial
- Not a manual chargeback system
How It Works
Four steps to protect your transfers
Create Protected Transfer
Send any supported ERC-20 using protected mode. Funds enter a time-bounded contract-held state under fixed on-chain rules.
- No admin keys can move funds
- State transitions follow fixed protocol logic
- Non-custodial by design
Active Undo Window
3 min – 24hDuring the active window, the sender can initiate a rewind.
- Sender-controlled during the window
- Early release by sender remains possible
- After expiry, either party can complete settlement
Execute Rewind
The sender requests the rewind, waits through the required hold period, and then executes it on-chain.
- Hold period enforced on-chain
- Fixed protocol rules
- No manual approvals or operator decisions
On-Chain Proof
Each successful rewind mints or updates a Rewind Proof NFT: a tamper-evident on-chain record.
- Publicly visible on-chain
- Proof of valid rewind activity
- Underlying records and events remain immutable
Built for Users & Treasury Workflows
From everyday senders to operational payment flows. A time-bounded undo window for ERC-20 transfers.
Error Recovery
Wrong address, wrong amount, wrong token, or duplicate payment. A time-bounded chance to undo sender errors.
Protection Before Settlement
Address poisoning, phishing, or social engineering can still happen. Rewind X gives senders a limited window to undo before settlement completes.
Wallet Compatibility
Works with standard EVM wallets and compatible smart accounts. Non-custodial by default.
Configurable Windows
Choose your protection window from 3 minutes to 24 hours. Extended windows available for eligible tiers.

Tamper-Evident Audit Trail
Updated with each successful execution. No fee discounts. Rewind Proofs are proof, not utility.
Automatic Minting
Minted on your first successful rewind. Updated with cumulative stats on each subsequent rewind. Transferable.
Cumulative Tracking
Tracks total rewind count, volume across all tokens, and valid executions.
Publicly Verifiable
On-chain audit trail. Inspect any Rewind Proof via block explorer or NFT wallet.
Discounts apply to the protected transfer fee only. The rewind execution fee (1.5%) is separate and not discounted.
Fair & Predictable Fees
Transparent fees for protected transfers. No hidden costs.
Protected Transfer Fee
1–3%
1% for preferred supported tokens
Up to 3% for extended / non-preferred supported tokens
Rewind Execution Fee
1.5%
Only applies if a rewind is executed
NFT tiers reduce the protected transfer fee. The rewind execution fee is separate and not discounted.
- 1% for preferred supported tokens
- Up to 3% for extended / non-preferred supported tokens
- NFT tiers can reduce this fee
- Fee applies per protected transfer
- A flat 1.5% fee applies to all users.
- Calculated on-chain. Fixed rules, no exceptions.
- No manual approvals or overrides.
If you never rewind → you never pay this fee.
Reversal Models Compared
Most systems rely on custodial intervention. Crypto offers no recourse. Rewind X introduces protocol-level, on-chain reversibility.
| Model | Custody | Reversal Type | Time Window |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chargebacks | Custodial | Discretionary | Days – Months |
| Bank Recall | Custodial | Manual | Uncertain |
| Crypto Today | Non-custodial | No reversal | — |
| Rewind X | Non-custodial | Deterministic | 3 min – 24h |
Reversibility becomes a protocol feature — not a support ticket.

Security Principles
Deterministic, non-custodial, and designed to minimize trust.
Deterministic Execution
All actions follow fixed on-chain rules. No exceptions, no manual intervention.
Non-Custodial by Design
Funds are held by the smart contract under predefined rules. No admin key can move user funds.
Bounded Controls
Administrative functions are strictly limited. Emergency pause can halt actions, but cannot access or move balances.
Preventive Safety — Not Recovery
Rewind X prevents mistakes before final settlement. It is not insurance, and it does not recover lost funds.
Rewind X adds a safety layer without changing the core guarantees of blockchain finality.
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about Rewind X
No. Rewind X is non-custodial: funds are held by smart contracts under deterministic on-chain rules. No admin key can move or redirect user funds. During the active window, only the sender can execute a rewind. After expiry, the transfer moves to settlement and either the sender or recipient can complete it.
Only the sender who created the protected transfer can execute a rewind, and only while the rewind window is active. Receivers and third parties cannot rewind or cancel a transfer.
Windows are configurable from 3 minutes to 24 hours. Users select their preferred duration at transfer creation. After expiry, the transfer moves to settlement and either party can complete it. No rewinds are possible beyond the window.
Protected transfers settle as net amounts: the protection fee is deducted at creation, so the recipient receives the held (net) amount. If a rewind is executed, the sender recovers the held amount minus the rewind execution fee.
No. Rewind X operates entirely at the application layer. Chain finality is unchanged. The protocol simply adds a deterministic safety window before final settlement.
No. Any EVM-compatible wallet can interact with Rewind X. Protected transfers work using standard ERC-20 approvals and do not require allowlists or special infrastructure.
Rewind X uses deterministic protocol rules such as sender limits, cooldowns, and other non-custodial safeguards to reduce abuse. These protections restrict actions under certain conditions, but they do not give the protocol control over user funds.
No. During the active rewind window, only the sender can use sender-side controls. The recipient cannot receive early. After expiry, the transfer moves to settlement and either party can complete it.
Yes. The sender can release the transfer early during the active window, allowing the recipient to receive it without waiting for the full window to expire. This is useful when both parties want faster settlement.
After the window expires, the transfer moves to settlement. Either the sender or recipient can complete it. If neither acts, the held amount remains in place under protocol rules. It is not auto-released or returned by the protocol.
Rewind X currently supports 38 ERC-20 tokens on BNB Chain, including major stablecoins and popular DeFi assets. Native chain tokens (BNB) require the wrapped version (WBNB).
